Deftones Release Video Offering For ‘Swerve City’

Deftones 2012 release Koi No Yokan is still making waves with the release of a brand-new single and accompanying video. Swerve City has been given the full treatment with the official video clip hitting the net just yesterday.

Such an epic jam would need an equally epic video, and it seems as though the band have done this one justice. Though we can’t honestly say much actually happens, the scenery and cinematography is outstanding, making it a super-easy watch, and the sneaky twist at the end will reward you even further.

The clip features a cheeky cameo from vocalist Chino Moreno, who clearly messed with the wrong woman.

Koi No Yokan dropped in November of last year and was met with a rousing reception. The record does feature that classic Deftones sounds, but differs slightly from previous releases, with one review commenting that, “You won’t find yourself thrashing around in the mosh pit, but it really does remind you of those times.”

Deftones recently lost their former bassist Chi Cheng, who passed away having been in a comatose state since a 2008 car crash.
