Dave Grohl, A Tribe Called Quest & Anderson .Paak Supergroup To Perform At 2017 Grammy Awards

A new music supergroup featuring Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, hip hop legends A Tribe Called Quest and California’s Anderson .Paak will make its live debut at the 2017 Grammy Awards later this month.

The new supergroup is among a list of new acts the Recording Academy has added to the Grammys performance lineup, which now also includes Daft Punk (who will be making their first live appearance since the 2014 Grammys, this time with The Weeknd), and Maren Morris performing with Alicia Keys.

The newly announced performers join the likes of Adele, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Metallica and Carrie Underwood, who were already locked in to play at music’s biggest night of the year. More performers are still to be announced.

Paak is up for the Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album Grammys this year, for his breakthrough album Malibu. He has also appeared on A Tribe Called Quest’s recent comeback album, We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service.

The 59th annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by The Late Show‘s James Corden in Los Angeles on Sunday, 12th February. Read the full list of this year’s nominees right here.
