Counting Crows Australian Tour Dates Announced
Written by Mike Hohnen on 17th January, 2013
Counting Crows have announced their first headlining Australian tour in friggin’ years. While in town for Bluesfest 2013, the band will be hitting up venues all throughout the land.
You may remember that the last headlining tour from the gang back in 2004 was drastically cut short following the passing of frontman Adam Duritz‘s grandmother, and you can’t really be too mad at that. Since then the band supported The Who in Australia, but this March marks a very anticipated return Down Under as the main drawcard.
Counting Crows have been the masterminds behind a handful of insanely catchy mega hits that reared their head throughout their long career, the most prolific of which would have to be the smash hit Mr. Jones during the 90s.
Their most recent release came in the form of Underwater Sunshine, but you can be sure their live show will be pieced together with anthem after anthem.
