Chris Cornell‘s last hours will be explored in a new episode of television show Autopsy: The Last Hours of….
As Alt Nation report, the documentary-style show will see Cornell played by British actor and singer Paul Ayres (pictured below). It will be directed by Zoran Trajkovic.
The show, which has been aired in the US since 2016 explores some of the most shocking, tragic and controversial deaths of our time.
Its eighth season is set to examine the deaths of fellow musicians like David Bowie, Lou Reed and James Brown. That season is currently airing but it’s unknown when Cornell’s episode will air.
In a since deleted Instagram, Ayres revealed that he was filming the show in early April.
“This time last week I was on set pretending to be someone else. Loved it. Thinking of growing my hair now,” he wrote alongside a picture of him on set.
Cornell passed away in May last year at the age of 52 with his death being ruled as a suicide
Earlier this year Cornell’s widow Vicky Cornell gave her first televised interview since his death.
“I don’t think that he could make any decisions because of the level of impairment,” she said, replying to whether or not addiction led to his decision to take his life.
She previously said, “he didn’t want to die”.
