Carole King Australian Tour This February
Written by Marc Zanotti on 14th November, 2012
Carole King is coming back to tour Australia in February 2013. One of the most prolific songwriters of all time, King has penned an almost countless collection of classics, including (You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman, You’ve Got a Friend, The Locomotion and I Feel the Earth Move, to name but a handful.
King penned her first #1 hit at the tender age of 17, when she wrote Will You Love Me Tomorrow, originally recorded by The Shirelles. Since that time the now 70-year-old musician has been inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
King’s newly announced Australian tour is her first since 2010, when she played a series of shows with fellow singer/songwriter James Taylor. In April, King published her best-selling autobiography A Natural Woman, chronicling her incredible life. However, the sun is far from setting on King with each show a possible new chapter in music history – don’t let it pass you by.
