CHECK OUT THE LATEST
Hard rock advocates Calling All Cars have entered uncharteed waters for their third and currently unnamed album, with the band today unveiling the first single from the album, Werewolves. It’s a sonic left turn and it’s worked, so they’re coming to a stage near you to prove it.
Werewolves is a far more fuzzed-out, industrial-sounding affair than we’ve previously seen from the outfit, informed by a menacing, hungry groove. The track is the latest in a string of celebrated releases from the crew who dropped Hold, Hold, Fire in 2010 and Dancing With A Dead Man in 2011, both met with critical acclaim.
For album 3, expected to be release early 2014, the band worked with both Steve Schram and Tom Larkin in the studio, and so far all signs seems to indicate lightning will be striking for a third time. The band previously released another new track from the album, Raise The People, as an exclusive treat for fans.
Calling All Cars are clearly in a fighting fit state to hit the highways of Australia in support of the single, and come October that’s exactly what they will be doing. The band have been clearing the cobwebs away by performing a run of secret shows in Melbourne under the name Werewolves, so prepare for a well-rehearsed live show.
