Bombay Bicycle Club Announce New Album ‘Carry Me’ And Unveil Interactive Music Video

Prolific and forward-thinking London four-piece Bombay Bicycle Club have announced the details of their upcoming fourth album, Carry Me, accompanying the unveiling with an innovative new interactive music video for the lead single of the same name, which readers can check out here.

Carry Me is due for a February 7th release, coming out via Island/Caroline. “I feel like we’ve found the balance between making it interesting and intelligent, but also not highbrow or elitist” said lead vocalist Jack Steadman, who wrote the record on travels through India, Turkey and Tokyo.

The album is also the band’s most personal to date, produced by Jack in the band’s London studio. “The whole creation process was a really honest one. Jack’s not afraid of us saying a part or lyric doesn’t work so we were able to all be very involved at every level” said guitarist Jamie MacColl.

Readers can check out the more straightforward clip for Carry Me, which is being called the band’s most explosive and anthemic track to date, below. The unique video pays tribute to stop-motion animation master Eadweard Muybridge, a reflection on the album’s theme of continuity.
