Bluesfest Reunites Ben Harper With The Innocent Criminals In Second Lineup Announcement

Byron Bay Bluesfest 2015 has just added a second bunch of names to its already brilliant lineup. The Bluesfest 2015 second lineup announcement includes the reunion of Ben Harper with his band The Innocent Criminals, who haven't played together since 2008. Harper last played Bluesfest back in 2013 as a solo artist.

Bluesfest has been teasing the second announcement for over a week promising that it will be presenting "a world premiere reunion of one of the greatest bands around the globe", adding "Yes, this will become internation news".

In addition to Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals, the second lineup boasts a large array of International acts. There's a strong British contingent with Ben Howard, Paolo Nutini and David Gray all set to make the trip down-under for the tail-end of our warm weather. And it doesn't just stop there, Soul legend Mavis Staple, the future of Texas Blues Gary Clark Jr and rock veterans, Counting Crows all make up this epic announcement.

The new names join the likes of the The Black Keys, Zac Brown Band, Alabama Shakes and Train on a bill that is likely to get much bigger. Last year the Festival made six lineup announcements before the April event.

Byron Bay Bluesfest is geared to take place over the Easter Weekend (2 - 6 April 2015) at its beautiful location, Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm.
