Bluejuice Bids Au Revoir To Keyboardist Jerry Craib

Everyone’s favourite local band Bluejuice has taken to Facebook on this lovely little Monday to share some internal news that will no doubt effect at least some of us – after 12 years Jerry Craib, their prominent keyboardist, has left the band.

It’s surely a difficult time for the band but their announcement is as hilarious as usual. Bluejuice take the time to share some of their fond memories with Jerry from over the years, including his tendency to wander off for hours at a time:

“This period was known as “Jerry Time”, or “JT”. Now Jerry’s got all the JT in the world, and we wish him well in his new endeavors.”

By the sounds of things, Craib was an integral member, not only for his musicianship (“Have you ever heard what our band sounds like? It’s got keyboards all over it. That’s Jerry. Jerry F**king Craib.”) but also on account of his skills with their gear – Bluejuice have lost their go-to in-band roadie.

No word yet on what this means for the band all-up, but this only happened moments ago, so chill for now. You can read the full statement below – it’s well worth it.
