Black Sabbath’s Final Tour Doco Is Hitting Aussie Cinemas

Black Sabbath fans gathered in their masses (just like witches at black masses) to see the greatest heavy metal band of all time bid farewell with one final tour across the globe.

The show that tolled ‘The End Of The End’ went down at the heavy metal founding fathers’ hometown of Birmingham, UK and the whole thing was captured on film and packaged into one monster doco that’s set to hit Aussie cinemas for one night only.

The End Of The End chronicles the tour and final performance that brought down the curtain on a heavy metal career that spanned almost half a century, as well as “unprecedented behind the scenes access to the band”, filmed by director Dick Carruthers (Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day, Imagine Dragons: Smoke + Mirrors Live).

“To bring it all back home after all these years was pretty special,” the band says in a joint statement. “It was so hard to say goodbye to the fans, who’ve been incredibly loyal to us through the years. We never dreamed in the early days that we’d be here 49 years later doing our last show on our home turf.”

Aussie cinemas are among 1,500 worldwide taking part in a one-off screening of the blockbuster heavy metal doco on Thursday, 28th September 2017.
