Wait on, what’s this? A contemporary, buzzworthy outfit that Azealia Banks doesn’t hate? Well now we’ve heard it all. The habitually crossing-the-line Harlem rapper has taken to the battlefield that is her Twitter account to tell the world she was just in the studio with UK EDM wunderkinds, and current talk of the town Disclosure.
To be more specific, Banks tweeted that she, “Just had an amazing session with @disclosure !!!!” So it’s not yet known whether anything will come from it or where the potential new tracks could end up.
Disclosure only just released their debut full-length LP, Settle, which would potentially cross them out, though given the fact that Banks’ full-length Broke With Expensive Taste is still a complete myth, it’s impossible to tell where the new material will land.
Regardless, Australian’s will potentially be the first in the world to find out what they’ve been scheming given that both will be headlining the inaugural Listen Out festival later this year.
This will be the first time Disclosure will be entering the rap game, though in terms of collaborations it is one more addition an already illustrious list. Settle saw the Brother duo team up with the likes of countrymen AlunaGeorge, Jessie Ware and Sam Smith.
