Architecture In Helsinki Announce East Coast Tour

Melbourne’s own Architecture In Helsinki are gearing up for the 2014 release of their fifth studio album, the follow-up to 2011's Moment Bends, which came in at number eight in triple j‘s 2011 Album Poll. To celebrate the debut single from the upcoming album, the band are hitting the road for a quick East Coast tour.

Readers can check out the new single, a fresh slice of infectious, funk-infused indie-pop titled In The Future, below. Besides a highly-lauded outing at Splendour In The Grass earlier this year, the guys and girls in Architecture In Helsinki have been keeping a low profile in 2013. With their nose to the grindstone, they’ve been hacking away at their next album, denying fans the opportunity to see their “exuberant explosion of sweat, heart, energy and fun.”

Well they’re about to make it up to all of their East Coast fans, with a run of shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. AIH will be headlining the recently announced lineup for Valley Fiesta 2013, before stopping off at home to play a show at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne, then finishing off with a set at this year’s Homebake, which has moved to the Sydney Opera House forecourt. Don’t miss out!
