Antiskeptic Return With A New Album And Video

Melbourne rock outfit Antiskeptic have returned from their six-year break by announcing the release of their third album Stare Down The Ocean on 19th September. The band have also dropped a music video for the album’s first single, Hey Dissident.

Antiskeptic’s passionate fan base assisted in funding Stare Down The Ocean via Pozible crowd-funding campaigns which raised over $20,000. The band have been working with producer Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus) on the album.

By joining forces with Robot Army Productions for their Hey Dissident video, Antiskeptic have created an homage to all the ’80s goodness of Back To The Future. Just imagine a blistering alt-rock track layered over footage of a hoverboard and a silver DeLorean. Or, catch the video, below.

Antiskeptic formed in 1999, but disbanded in 2008 following a sold out show in Melbourne which was given a DVD release.

Hey Dissident can be downloaded for free via the Antiskeptic website.
