Allday Drops Some New Verses From His Bedroom

Allday has shared some new bars with fans via Facebook. The short, black-and-white clip features the young rapper in his bedroom spitting verses to his computer webcam, over the instrumental from Fall In Love, a cut from Detroit hip-hop crew Slum Village’s 2000 sophomore album, Fantastic, Vol. 2.

“I wrote some bars in my little notepad here, thought I’d just rap them into the camera, because… I don’t know?” the 23-year-old Adelaide native explains to the camera before launching into a boastful, tongue-in-cheek set of rhymes that touch on everything from his success to interactions with the fairer sex.

One subject that the rapper doesn’t address, however, is where he manages to get all of his energy from. In addition to penning new rhymes, Allday will soon embark on his Startup Cult national tour, before appearances at Festival Of The Sun, Beyond the Valley, Lost Paradise, and Melbourne Music Week.
