5 Supa-Star Guests You Have To See At Supanova

Supanova Pop Culture Expo is just around the corner. Tickets are on sale now to Supanova which hits Adelaide this weekend (November 21 to 23) and Brisbane the week after (November 28 to 30).

Supanova is delivering an action-packed, fun-filled expo with Supa-Star guests from the world of TV, film, anime, games, comic-books, manga, science fiction and fantasy!

It's almost impossible to pick but here are five Supa-Star guests you can't miss at Supanova:

Jack Gleeson

Known for his role as Joffrey Baratheon, the boy-king in Game of Thrones, Gleeson is making a rare appearance at Supanova. The Irish actor, who began acting at the age of seven, appeared as a boy in the Batman Begins movie. Joffrey's death in Game of Thrones Season 4 was one of the most shocking moments of the show to date. Since, he's taken a break from acting to focus on college where he is studying philosophy and theology.

Peter Cullen

Peter Cullen is one of the most-recognised voices of pop-culture. He's best known as the voice of the wise and heroic leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime from '80s cartoon series Transformers. He was also the voice of various other robots including Ironhide, Sluglinger, Streetwise, Wingspan and Nightstack. In 2007, Cullen was introduced to a whole new audience, reprising his role as the voice of Optimus Prime in Michael Bay's adaptation of Transformers.

Alan Tudyk

Alan Tydyk is best known for a plethora of roles. He's played Hoban "Wash" Washburne in the space western television series Firefly and movie Serenity, Simon in the British comedy Death at a Funeral, Steve the Pirate in DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story, Sonny in the science fiction drama I, Robot and plenty more. He's also voiced cartoons (Alvin and The Chipmunks) and video games (Halo 3).

Oliver & James Phelps

Oliver & James Phelps are otherwise known as the Weasley Twins from Harry Potter, Fred and George. James Phelps had only just finished the first Harry Potter book of the series when their mother told them about an audition for the part in Leeds. After the audition, the phone rang and the mother answered. When she was asked the question: "Is the mother of the Weasley twins there?" her answer was "No". Eventually the penny dropped.

Manu Bennett

Born in New Zealand, Manu Bennett grew up acting on Australian dramas including Water Rats, All Saints and Beastmaster. Since then his career has skyrocketed. In 2000 he landed a role in Xena: Warrior Princess as Marc Antony following it up more recently as the powerful Crixus in Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Currently, he stars as Deathstroke The Terminator in the CW Series, ARROW, and as Azog The Defiler in The Hobbit Trilogy.
