Korn are about to begin a South American tour, and they’ve got a new band member joining them for a bunch of their upcoming shows.
Tye Trujillo, the 12-year-old son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, is filling in for Korn bassist Reginald ‘Fieldy’ Arvizu on the tour, because Fieldy is “unable to make the shows” due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
In a statement, Korn say, “We are bummed Fieldy can’t join us on this run but excited to do a few gigs with a young player like Tye.
“We look forward to welcoming our brother Fieldy back when we return to the States in May.”
