Young Lions are not one to shy away from their performances having earnt a solid reputation for their live sets with Kill Your Stereo calling their recent performance supporting US rockers Bayside as "a stellar performance" and "a catchy and fervent set".

Young Lions are announcing an encore run of dates this November with a very special and exclusive show in their hometown Brisbane on December 9 which will be their final show for 2017, in an all raw acoustic set.

Returning to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and the addition of the band's first visit across the seas to Tasmania's capital of Hobart, the band will perform tracks from their AIR #3 (Chart - 14/8/17) Album 'Mr Spaceman'.

Brisbane show in particular will be a highlight when the band will perform their entire set acoustically... the intimate set will give fans the chance to see Young Lions perform unplugged and stripped down configurations of tracks from all three albums.

Young Lions released their highly anticipated third studio album titled 'Mr Spaceman' on Tuesday August 8, aptly released on a peak time on the Lunar Calendar - the day Australia witnessed a partial lunar eclipse which was fitting for a concept album that follows a character on a journey into space.

"Writing a concept album, in retrospect, was a way for us to push the boundaries and open our minds, lyrically and musically, so that we felt we could push the limits of what Young Lions is," says singer Zach Britt. "Using space as a landscape for such a journey seemed a logical way for us to go".

The album has been very well received by critics and fans alike:

4/5: "A concept record that explodes their sound into heady, arena-ready territory" - Rolling Stone Magazine

4/5: "Incredible album... definitely a fan" - The Music

10/10: "My album of the year so far" - Depth Magazine

90/100: "A powerful LP that'll leave you on the edge of your seat" - Kill Your Stereo

5/5: "A flawless display of musicianship, songwriting and atmosphere... it is peerless" - The Sonic Sensory
