......and Wait

On a distant island a figure waits.

Robbed of her position, home and wealth, cast out and left for dead. But this is no ordinary woman, and this no ordinary island. Prospera a women of science, able to control the very elements and bend nature to her will. When a sail appears on the horizon, she reaches out across the ocean to the ship that carries those who wronged her. Creating a vast magical storm she wrecks the ship and washes her enemies up on the shore. When they wake they find themselves lost on a fantastical island where nothing is as it seems.

1987 Productions presents as its last open stage theatrical performance for 2016 a bold re imagining of Shakespeare's magical play, creating an unforgettable theatrical experience. Directed by Steven Carmichael.
