In 2015 Wet Lips threw the first WETFEST in their Brunswick backyard to celebrate the release of their first EP Wet is Best. Since then it has sold out The Tote 2 years running and been a wonderful celebration of the incredible music community Wet Lips are lucky enough to be a part of.

2018 is a big year for WETFEST. Firstly we're moving things to Howler so everyone can enjoy the likes of Brooke Powers, Jesswar and Corin through that mint sound system. Secondly it's going to be the last Wet Lips show for an indefinite period of time. After 6 years of playing, putting on events like this and carving out a space for ourselves in the Melbourne music scene we've decided we need a break - a big one. We don't know when (or if) we'll be back.

Don't sook about it though! Just buy your damn ticket.

This year we have an option to buy a ticket for someone else to attend the event. We are giving priority to QTIPoC and people with a disabilities for these tickets. If you can afford it please consider this option. It will help us let everyone enjoy WETFEST whilst still being able to pay all the artists fairly.
