If you’re an admirer of virtual reality, come and learn tools and techniques for realising your filmmaking ideas.

Get familiar with new approaches to film making and immersive digital environments in this entry level workshop led by Mod Studio.

This 3-hour workshop will get you acquainted with the current state of VR film making. We'll also introduce you to the tools of the trade such as VR head mounted displays including Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR and HTC Vive. Then, realise your imagination by creating 360 video for social VR platforms like Youtube and Facebook.

You'll also gain an understanding of VR film making post production issues and get hands-on experience using the library's new computer lab and software. Let your new skills loose with the latest Adobe Creative Suite and Digital Editions software. These programs are also available to use at Kings Cross Library following the workshop.
