Verge Collection say a big fat 'hello' to 2018 with the release of epiphany-inducing single 'Feelin' Old' - the opening track to their upcoming debut album Flaneur (out March 30).

Celebrating their debut long-player, the Perth four-piece also announce their biggest tour to date, taking their world class poetry to suburban millennials at eight locations across the country this April.

With the same production team behind their 2016 triple j mini hit 'Our Place', Flaneur cements Verge Collection's presence in the suburban Australian whirlpool. Featuring ten new tracks including 'For The Story', 'So Vain' and latest single 'Feelin' Old' it's a collection that reflects the band's journey to maturity while highlighting the ever-present poetic wit and endearing drawl of frontman Ben Arnold.

Ben isn't one to mince words. Riffing on latest offering 'Feelin' Old' he explores the great realisation of mortality. "It's one of those make or break kind of events," he says. "Knowing that you will eventually disappear one day really forces you to enjoy as much life as possible and however you react to it, it changes your perspective on everything."

Enjoying life is something this band did big-time last year. Vergies enter 2018 fresh from a massive shows with the likes of The Wombats, Skegss, Hockey Dad & Bleeding Knees Club. If ticket sales for their completely sold out 2017 'For The Story' single tour are any indication, fans are urged to snap up spots on this run of dates as well as pre-orders for Flaneur 12" vinyl, released exclusively via a deal with Perth institution Rhubarb Records.

Verge Collection's single 'Feelin' Old' is out now. Flaneur is out physically on Friday 30 March via Rhubarb Records and digitally via Believe Distribution. Pre-order packages for 'Flaneur' are selling fast and available exclusively from RhubarbRecords.com
