Sub-genres often closely link to the cities and boroughs they were born out of as well as the times they comment on socially. UV boi leads the charge in a new class of internet age production pioneers with music coloured by heavy 808s, hip-hop influences as well as elements of the digital landscape he thrives in.  

After a year of dominating the live scene, racking up accolades and drip feeding new music, UV boi  is proud to announce the release of 'LUV' featuring fellow Brisbane artist Fionn Richards and Brookyln-based duo Brasstracks. The single will be made available as a free download, acting as a taste of the rising producer's debut EP.   After self-releasing early songs such as 'Thank U' and 'ghost', it didn't take long for tastemakers on the internet and airwaves to take notice.

Nina Las Vegas presented UV boi 's 'Strapped In The Durags' mix on triple j's Mix Up Exclusives and prolific producer Ryan Hemsworth reached out to collaborate on their song 'Gods'. He was also awarded with 'Undiscovered Artist of the Year' at the inthemix awards and shortlisted by triple j Unearthed as one of their artists of the year.   To celebrate the release of his new single, UV boi will be touring the country as part of his 'LUV Single Tour'.

With dates in all major cities as well as an appearance at Splendour in the Grass, UV boi  will be gracing audiences with the same high octane live show which has seen him support the likes of Kaytranada, Lido, SOPHIE, Flosstradamus, Tkay Maidza and become a club mainstay.
