Universal Music Australia kick the week off with a bang, showcasing artists from the thriving Island Records Australia, Mercury Records and Dew Process stables.

Headlining the night with aplomb is no stranger to a rock n roll stage, ARIA Award winning Bertie Blackman. Her fourth album, the masterfully dark art /pop of 'Pope Innocent X' (Oct 12) is released via her new home at Mercury Records. Bertie, fresh off the road from a massive national jaunt with The Rubens, will grace the OAF stage for a special trio set before hitting the road with the inimitable Gotye on his December tour. New signings to Dew Process, Brisbane's Art Of Sleeping also join the joyous fray. Selling out numerous shows on their recent national headline tour to critical acclaim, their soaring yet dynamic new EP 'Like A Thief' (Oct 12) includes triple j and community radio favourite 'Empty Hands' and unveils why Art of Sleeping are touted as a band to watch in 2013. www.facebook.com/theartofsleeping

In demand Sydney gothic-soul rock outfit The Preatures will also take the stage. Having toured throughout 2012 and enjoying alt-radio support for their single 'Take A Card', the band launch their long awaited EP 'Shaking Hands' (Oct 12). Touring nationally for the EP in October followed by laps of the map with Deep Sea Arcade and then San Cisco. Watch their latest video 'Pale Rider' HERE; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CBm6dBy4ns

Guitar wunderkind Harts will start off proceedings with his own brand of indie-rock grooves, lifted from his forthcoming Island Records debut EP 'Offtime'. You'll have heard his tracks 'All Too Real' and 'Back To The Shore' on triple j unearthed and in the blogosphere. Watch 'All Too Real' HERE; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfwW-qucnV0
