Troldhaugen have announced two incredible new things. Firstly their new album 'IDIO+SYNCRASIES' is due for release on Friday September 1st. Secondly, they will be embarking on a run of Australian shows before departing on an epic European tour alongside pirate-metal giants ALESTORM. Wollongong's Troldhaugen are an exciting, exuberant breath of fresh air in progressive metal. With incredible showmanship blended with a heavy dose of epic riffs and technicality, the band have blasted their way around Australia and Europe, forging a new scene around their folk-prog-circus-metal-pop hybrid.

The band's 2014 breakout album 'Obzkure Anekdotez for Maniakal Massez' was enthusiastically received by the massez, earning the band airplay on triple j, tours with Vampillia (JPN), Alestorm (UK), Finntroll (SWE), Toehider, Twelve Foot Ninja & catapulting them to festival stages in Europe early in their fledgling touring career.

Now seasoned road warriors, the band's latest opus 'IDIO+SYNCRASIES' takes their bizarre antics to another level. Like Lady Gaga fronting Metallica, or...Daft Punk fronting Mr. Bungle...or...something. Anyway, it's out through Bird's Robe Records on Friday September 1st.
