Guitar maestro Tom Ferris returns to The Basement with his all star band, for the first time since the successful "Red Room" album launch in 2010. Sharing the spotlight this time is fellow Jazz Fusion stalwart, keyboardist Sam McNally - a veteran of over 20 of his own shows here. These two instrumental artists are rare in Australia’s contemporary jazz scene, with composition sophistication that’s hip, modern, and lush in sound - echoing artists like Larry Carlton, George Duke and many other powerful influences. Tom will be featuring tunes from his new album “Time Clock”. Sam McNally and his own band will play material from his numerous albums.

Tom Ferris: Sydney born and raised, Tom's versatility on the guitar has long been recognised by his peers and fans alike.

He has a gigantic amount of experience in the studios and on stage across all music genres.

He made a massive contribution to the success of pioneering soul/funk Melbourne band Stylus in the 1970s and has continued to be at the heart of countless superb artists since, like John Farnham, Tim Finn, Tommy Emmanuel, Air Supply and Doug Williams."
