Wonder-folk artist-on-the-rise Timberwolf is excited to announce his new single ‘It Burns’. To coincide with the release, the 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Adelaide will play a string of shows, including coveted appearances at Festival Of The Sun, AWME, Gorgeous Festival and more.

Timberwolf's 'It Burns' is brought to life by the artist's smoky vocals and luscious arrangements, but it's the approach to the folk genre - the combination of banjo, disco drum beats, and an undeniable warmth - that makes the track truly unique. Produced by the acclaimed Mark Myers (The Middle East), 'It Burns' is an ode to an ill-fated love; a vortex of harmonies and galloping beats that parallel the ups and downs of the narrative. However, at the heart of Timberwolf as an artist is his ability to connect; 'It Burns' is likely to stay with you long after the song is over.

 Despite only forming in early 2013, the singer-songwriter boasts an enviable CV. This year alone has seen him support Mikhael Paskalev, Holy Holy, Little May, Dustin Tebbutt and more. Timberwolf's self-produced, debut EP 'Man & Moon' included tracks 'Into The Cold', 'Grace' and 'Garden' - all of which hit number 1 on triple j's Roots 'N All chart along with solid support from community radio and tastemakers alike. On top of selling out his single and EP launch shows, the artist was featured in Rip It Up Magazine's 'Hot Six' issue, an edition dedicated to six local artists to watch in 2014, also featuring Tkay Maidza, Bad//Dreems & Jesse Davidson.

 'It Burns' is the first single from Timberwolf's forthcoming EP Flux, due for release in 2015.
