Secret Garden Sideshow with Thomas Calder, D.D Dumbo and Maples.

Thomas Calder, singler/songwriter from Brisbane Indie outfit "The Trouble With Templeton", is taking some time out from his busy band schedule to play a special intimate solo show for the folks of Sydney. He will be trying out some new songs and playing some old favourites from both "Bleeders" and "Rookie" as well. The Trouble With Templeton have just been signed to seminal UK Indie label Bella Union, who also signed Fleet Foxes, Beach House and Midlake among others. This announcement follows a huge 18 months for the band that saw them release "Rookie" to rave reviews across Australia, tour extensively here plus 40 dates across the US and UK (sharing the stage with the likes of Of Monsters & Men, Father John Misty, Julia Stone and Jake Bugg), play Harvest, Falls, SxSW, CMJ, and Canadian Music Week, win a Queensland Music Award and achieve iTunes Single Of The Week for "Six Months in A Cast".

Joining Thomas is an exciting new act from Castlemaine, Victoria - D.D Dumbo. D.D's debut release is a five-track self-titled EP, which is aptly described as 'experimental blues loop pop'. It is available as a limited edition 12" and a digital bundle via The Blue Rider, a Trans-Atlantic singles label responsible for introducing the likes Jagwar Ma and Kilo Kish to the world.  Lead single 'Tropical Oceans' has already made its mark on numerous blogs around the world, including Line of Best FitAbeanoThe Guardian and NME. D.D Dumbo has recently performed at Meredith Festival and supported Warpaint at their secret Laneway Festival sideshow.

Sydney songstress Gabby Huber, aka Maples, is last to join the lineup. Huber has spent several years crafting her sound. Stepping out into the world as Maples, she blends acoustic and electronic worlds with soaring vocals and keyboards. Maples is inspired by change, life's only constant, and the illumination drawn from undiscovered places deep within the soul.
