Thieves is the heart felt project & friendship between Thomas Keating and Mitchell Crum.

The last few years has seen the band release two EP's, tour nationally with Oh Mercy, as well as support the likes of Jen Cloher, Barry Adamson (The Bad Seeds), Kevin Devine, Big Scary & Gang Of Youths (to name a few).

In March 2014, Thieves took time off from playing live to focus on writing. Trying to steer away from heavy drinking and constant procrastination, Thieves managed to pull things together and write their debut album. Heavily influenced at the time by prolific story-tellers such as Nick Cave, Neil Young, Jay Laffer, Gareth Lidiard and Tim Winton, a twisted melancholic narrative about a troubled Australian family was created.

The LP is titled Mary & was recorded live to tape over two days. The band explains it as their "most organic and honest effort as a band yet". Set for release mid 2015.
