Them Rumblin' Bones are a new three piece hard rock band and will be launching their debut album on Saturday October 8 at The Spotted Mallard.

Their album is 10 tracks of riff heavy, pedal to the metal rock and roll and features a cameo on lead guitar from California's stoner rock legend Arthur Seay (Unida, House of Broken Promises) on the track "Shadowbox with a Billionaire."

Although a new band, the members have long CV's in the Australian music scene.

Michael Stangel is a well known producer, songwriter and performer who found success in 2013 on "The Voice" after a long illness cut him down. He endured three brain operations, open heart surgery and a terminal prognosis. Michael has amazingly fought back and is now in full swing.

Dave Stevens played in his first band with Michael at high school in the early 80's and has now come full circle, reteaming with Michael in Them Rumblin' Bones. Between many and varied band stints Dave became part of the St Kilda landscape with his retail and live music institution Pure Pop Records . He's also the son of AC/DC's beloved Bon Scott so the rock pedigree is surely there.

Rounding out the trio on drums is Venom, He is simply an institution in the Australian music industry. Having played with the "who's who "of the rock n roll for many years.

Support on the night comes from Lone Free and Damon Smith.

Doors open 4pm and the show starts at 8pm
