THE ZERO HOUR / LA HORA CERO
FEATURE | VENEZUELA | 2010 | DIEGO VELASCO | 100 MIN | SPANISH | ENGLISH SUBTITLES
A story of violence and revenge, love and action, The Zero Hour is set against harsh reality of life in Caracas. This fast-paced, action-packed film is based on the 1996 medical strike and follows hit-man, Parca, as he takes over an elite hospital in a desperate attempt to save his girlfriend's life. Taking doctors and wealthy patients as hostages, Parca soon realises that his desperation for medical care is shared by thousands of other citizens affected by the strike. A love story told in the midst of chaos, The Zero Hour is a story about the mythic rise to power and the inevitable fall from grace.
