'Britrock Must Be Destroyed Tour' feat.

THE WILDHEARTS (UK)

+ TERRORVISION (UK)

+ REEF (UK)

90s Britrock icons Reef, The Wildhearts and Terrorvision are joining forces for an attack on Australia this August/September for the first 'Britrock Must Be Destroyed' tour.

Best known for their Hottest 100 banger 'Place Your Hands', Reef were never far from rock radio playlists, spending the decade supporting artists like Paul Weller, The Rolling Stones and Soundgarden while making a trip to Australia as part of the seminal 1996 lineup of the Big Day Out.

Terrorvision are one of the genre's trailblazers, with 'Oblivion', 'Perseverance' and 'Tequila' all hitting the upper reaches of the UK charts. The Wildhearts, known for their smashing live shows were riding high throughout the 90s and 2000s with two top 20 UK albums and their rock anthem 'I Wanna Go Where the People Go'.

Combined, the three bands bring a collision of anthemic British rock waging war on boredom mediocrity and probably each other.

As Tony Wright of Terrorvision states; "It's going to be great to find out what was going on in the 90s and what it sounded like. I've seen the pics and so I know we were there - but to experience it first-hand will be ace!"

Reef's Gary Stringer enthuses; "Really amped to be hitting the road this August and joining up with the guys from Terrorvision and The Wildhearts, it's gonna be a blast! See you there, happy days."

While Ginger of The Wildhearts throws down the challenge; "We are honoured to be a part of this legendary tour. Mainly because it means that we're still alive, but also because it gives us a chance to prove that we were always the best band of this whole bunch."
