Melbourne institution "The Shelf" returns to the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival for its 14th season. Hosted by Justin Hamilton and Adam Richard "The Shelf" presents the best comedians in the world alongside the brightest talent in Australia.

The Shelf is where you can see stand up, chat, sketches, musical and character comedy. We'd dub it a variety show but even that would just be limiting what this show can be. Every show is different from the previous performance and it really is the comedy show where anything can happen.

Line-ups are announced on the day of the show.

The doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 7.30pm sharp.
