The Shelf returns in 2015 for Season 11 and is the only live comedy show in Australia that gives you the best stand up, sketches, character comedy, musical comedy and free wheeling chats between your favourite comedians.

Over the past ten seasons "The Shelf" has become the type of comedy institution that Melbourne has become famous for.  Every season has been a sell-out and the upcoming 2015 Melbourne Comedy Festival shows will be no different. Hosted by Justin Hamilton and Adam Richard "The Shelf" presents for your entertainment some of the best comedians in the world alongside some of the brightest new talent in Australia.

With line-ups not announced until the day of the show, audiences have been richly rewarded with a comedy experience like no other in the world.  From comedy icons like Rove McManus and Wil Anderson sharing a stage to banter about the old times the consistently brilliant work of Cal Wilson with her character "Adele" to the emerging brilliance of young comics like Corey White and Becky Lucas, "The Shelf" has consistently followed through with its promise that anything could happen.  

The Shelf is where you can see stand up, chat, sketches, musical and character comedy.  We'd dub it a variety show but even that would just be limiting what this show can be.
