When The Rumjacks say there are back, they certainly come back with a big BANG and celtic drum roll. With not only the announcement of a new album for 2015, but a tour which will hit all states and major cities, plus a couple of extra shows thrown in for good balance.

To give their fans a little something now, they have released the second single off their highly anticipated second album 'Sober & Godless'.

The first single, Blows & Unkind Words, which has been out now for just over a month, on digital retailers and available as a 7" Vinyl, has already had over 40,000 views on YouTube, proving again that The Rumjacks are what people want, what people need, but also what the 10 Million views of the The Rumjacks previous videos already told us.

So here it is: THE SINGLE
The second single - PLENTY http://youtu.be/C_uhbYEMwuY
This track will see the well-known Rumjacks energy enter your veins and engulf you, have you pre-ordering their album in anticipated contentment.
When asked what 'Plenty' was about, front man, Frank McLaughlin said, "It's a rallying cry for irregular folk, A unifying call (and response) for anyone living life in the real world, with all its bumps, dents, cracks scars & warts. Imperfections create friction, and friction creates warmth,.. warmth is essential to human life. Sing it loud!!!"

THE ALBUM
Sober & Godless, to be released on their own label 'Black Matilda Music'. The album was produced by Steve James (Thin Lizzy, The Jam, The Screaming Jets).
McLaughlin went on to explain, "The making of this album saw us wondering at this whole folk/punk thing as a wider genre, and what it means to us. The sickeningly rich tradition of people telling their story to song has continued unbroken by time, distance or malevolence. We see no good reason why it should stop with us. Call it celtic punk, folk, rock or whatever, we have to keep telling each other our story, thats the only thing that keeps us human."

The Official Release Date for 'Sober & Godless' is Friday 6th February, 2015. And as a special Christmas Gift - This album will be released digitally to a select few for Review. The Rumjacks are ready to take this to another level - and taking their live show to their fans all around the world. But we won't bombard you with absolutely every announcement just yet, but be assured that an overseas tour with some major festivals dotted across the globe is all but set in concrete.

Johnny McKelvey (bass player) summed it up best. 'Since we started we NEVER wanted to do anything half-arsed. That has never changed and never will. Seeing the results from working our arses off for Sober & Godless has only made us want to work harder than we ever had'

The Rumjacks feel their time has come, their fans are begging for more. 2015 is going to see the re-birth of an outstanding Australian product that not only the world will embrace but Australia can be proud of.
