It's The Rhythm Hut's huge 2nd birthday in Faunce St, Gosford! It's been a busy 2 years of renovations and growth, loads and loads of drumming, and of course the BEST live music on the Coast. And now it's time to celebrate with a huge night of music and dancing featuring The Hot Potato Band, Rhythm Hunters, and Tijuana Cartel!

There will be dinner, and drinks available, bar open, a chill out zone, pumping drum circle, DJs and loads more... The 1st Birthday and our Grand Opening both completely sold out, so make sure you get in early and grab your tickets pre sale - it's going to be huge!!!

Hot Potato Band

After bringing the Hut to it's knees at the July 5 lands Experience, the Hot Potato Band are back! Anything could happen with a show with Hot Potato Band! After the release of their long awaited single 'This Is How It Should Be' the Hot Potato Band take to the stage with vocalist Dylan Wright in a series of outrageously interactive shows throughout Australia. Known to cause a severe case of happy fever the 11 piece, fresh sounds brass band is sure to put a smile on your face in an incredibly unique and energetic live show. They make you the centre of their performance... literally!

Rhythm Hunters
Locals Rhythm Hunters continue the tradition of playing at The Hut birthday gigs - what's a party without the Hunters?! Rhythm Hunters are a dynamite force combining music from Indonesia, Japan and Australia. Cutting edge physical percussion, didgeridoo, western horns, Asian flute, deep grooves and ethereal sound scapes describe one of Australia's most exciting music groups. A growing list of credentials include main-stage performances at Woodford Folk Festival, National Folk Festival, Peat's Ridge, The Dreaming, National Multicultural Festival, Cygnet, Island Vibe, and Mullumbimby Music Festival.

Tijuana Cartel
As the corner stone of Australia's 'east meets west' electronic scene, Tijuana Cartel have a knack for blending layers of rich, intricate atmospheric soundscapes with laid back rhythms and luscious vocals to form an electronic beats tapestry that will cut through to your very soul.

Simply, there isn't another band doing what they do. Having spent the last decade mixing in influences that haven't been fused in the past, their penchant is for Middle Eastern scales, beats that get a floor moving and a general Psychedelic approach in song structure and ethos. Not married to one genre or another, they happily change direction in search of new flavors and inspiration, whenever the moment takes them there.

Tijuana Cartel will be showcasing new tracks off their soon to be released album 'PSYCHEDELICATESSEN' and play an extended set featuring all our old favs.
