Sydney's The Preatures are bringing their acclaimed performance and magic of second album 'Girlhood' to Zoo Twilights for the first time with support from Ali Barter.

Once known as Sydney's 'worst kept secret' The Preatures have come into their own since the release of their highly-awaited debut 'Blue Planet Eyes' in 2014. Off the back of their breakout single 'Is This How You Feel?', which landed an impressive #9 in JJJ Hottest 100, the band have played some of the world's most prestigious festivals, sold out the Sydney Opera House and appeared on late night mainstay Jimmy Kimmel Live. Fronted by the electrifying Isabella 'Izzi' Manfredi - whose prowess as a singer have been likened to that of Chrissie Hynde and Chrissy Amphlett - the band is rounded out by Jack Moffit on guitar, Thomas Champion on bass and Luke Davison on drums. They released their sophomore album 'Girlhood' in 2017 to critical acclaim with The Australian calling it "well-measured and masterfully constructed" and Rolling Stone awarding the album a 4-star review.

Melbourne's Ali Barter understands a thing or two about capturing frank, sometimes messy emotions in memorable song form. With bold, burning rallying cry and wry lyrics on gender expectations she is best known for her 2016 single 'Girlie Bits'.

The Preatures and Ali Barter will come together for a stellar double up of powerhouse frontwomen at Zoo Twilights this summer.
