Just when you thought the Splendour In The Grass weekend couldn't get any bigger, we're back to announce the Official Splendour Pre Parties, this year taking place in both Byron Bay and Brisbane!

So whether you're on ground in Byron and ready to kick off a massive weekend of music or holding the fort back in Brissie, you can still get in on the festival action with two awesome line-ups featuring a bunch of Splendour 2015's finest!

BYRON BAY

FLIGHT FACILITIES

After the surprise release of their debut album Down To Earth, Flight Facilities show no sign of slowing down. The album catapulted to #1 on the iTunes Australia chart, Number One and Two on the US and UK iTunes electronic charts respectively and Number Three on the ARIA chart.

Soon after, they set off on a Sold Out headline Australian theatre tour followed by a quick US and EU tour and a bus tour around America. With only a quick break at home to rework their live set, they'll play Splendour and the Byron Pay Official Pre Party before hitting the European Summer festival circuit for a couple of months.

TKAY MAIDZA

Armed with fast flow, bossy beats and hella high shoes Adelaide emcee Tkay Maidza continues to stomp her way to the top of the rap-game.

Selling out club shows faster than she slays her rhymes, it's little wonder fans across the country have snapped up the chance to hear the creator of the self-confessed 'brat-rap' that has been the soundtrack to summer following the release of her latest single 'M.O.B' and her internet-crashing mixtape 'Switch Tape'.

As Tone Deaf declared "2015 is Tkay's year - we're just living in it". Witness the fitness.

ELLIPHANT

Swedish reggae-pop maverick Elliphant's "Look Like You Love It" EP featured the likes of Diplo, Skrillex, TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek and more. Her second EP is a musical patchwork that's as warm as it is wild. The intoxicating, yet intricate title track "One More" (featuring M ) became the "#1 Most Tweeted Song on Twitter" on release and got a lot of summer love from triple j.

Equal parts crazy club girl, hip-hop gangster, R&B baller and hippie spirit, Elliphant has a new album coming this year and you can sample the new tracks when she plays Splendour and the Byron Bay Official Pre Party!

VALLIS ALPS

Canberra/Seattle-based electronic duo Vallis Alps' music blends down-tempo, piano-driven melodies and acoustic guitar with 80's pop synths and gritty trap beats to compliment their half-nostalgic, half-foretelling lyrics.

Since releasing their independent self-titled debut EP in Jan 2015, the pair's mesmerizing tunes have clocked millions of SoundCloud plays and peaked at #1 on Hype Machine upon release. They continued to make their mark on the Aus iTunes Electronic Album and Singles Chart for 'Young' at #2 and #23 respectively, debuting in the Top 100 ARIA singles chart - a great feat for a new act!

L.K. MCKAY

You might not have heard his name yet, but you've definitely heard the bouncy, technicolor beats of L.K. McKay across airwaves and festival stages in the past 12 months! The Adelaide producer has been one of the driving forces behind hip hop starlet Tkay Maidza, producing her monster radio hits 'U-Huh' and 'M.O.B', and serving as her tour DJ since 2013
