CELEBRATE NEW YEAR'S EVE 2016 ON COCKATOO ISLAND

Cockatoo Island is one of the best places in Sydney to watch the world-renowned New Year's Eve fireworks. Right in the heart of Sydney Harbour, you'll enjoy a fun and relaxing night with family and friends - without the crowds, long walks home, or traffic jams.

While the fireworks display is the star attraction, there are so many great reasons to spend NYE 2016 on Cockatoo Island. We'll have a variety of activities for the kids, special guided tours, a delicious selection of food and drinks to purchase, and music to entertain you throughout the evening.

This New Year's Eve, Cockatoo Island offers unique accommodation options to suit all budgets and tastes - from BYO camping sites through to a range of different Glamping and Camping options.

All of our Glamping and Camping NYE 2016 options are for 2-night stays on Friday 30 December and Saturday 31 December 2016.

Tickets for these packages will be available for sale via Moshtix from Monday 6 June 2016.

Options and Inclusions:

Two bedroom Glamping Package

• 2 x (3m x 3m) tent with connection roof attached
• Includes: site, tent, 4 camp beds with linen, towels, 4 sun lounges, 2 eskies, 2 lanterns
• Located on waterfront (Northern Apron)
• Max 6 people

Please note that if there are 6 people in the booking, 2 people are required to bring their own sleeping bags. Sleeping mats will be provided.

Glamping Package

• 3m x 3m tent
• Includes: site, tent, 2 camp beds with linen, towels, 2 sun lounges, esky, lantern
• Located on waterfront (Northern Apron)
• Max 3 people.

Please note that if there are 3 people in the booking, 1 person is required to bring their own sleeping bag. A sleeping mat will be provided.

Mini Glamping

• 2.4m x 2.4m tent
• Includes: site, tent, 2 single camp beds with linen, towels, 2 chairs.
• Located in Section B
• Max 2 people.

Camping Package

• 2.4m x 2.4m tent
• Includes: site, tent, 2 sleeping mats, 2 chairs
• Please Note: Tents comfortably sleep 3 Adults OR 2 Adults + 2 Children
• Max 4 people.

Site only 4 person

• 4m x 4m site BYO tent and camping gear, etc. Whole "footprint" must be contained within this size
• Please Note: If you are bringing your own tent and it exceeds the allocated area you must hire multiple camp sites
• Max 4 people.

Site only 6 person

• 6m x 4m site BYO tent and camping gear, etc. Whole "footprint" must be contained within this size
• Please Note: If you are bringing your own tent and it exceeds the allocated area you must hire multiple camp sites
• Max 6 people.

Mooggee Camping Packages

• Pre-erected tent (tent only) for your arrival in the designated Mooggee Camp areas. These will be pitched on gravel or concrete areas of the Island on platforms for your comfort.

• It is recommended that you either hire or bring your own sleeping mats. Please ensure you bring your own sleeping bags or pre purchase them at the time of booking.

• Max 4 people.

Car Parking & Shuttle

Parking is available from our Horse Paddock carpark, located next to the Hunters Hill Sailing Club. We will provide a water taxi transfer to the island from the parking area and also return you to the same location on New Year's Day.

• Parking must be booked online at the same time as your Camping or Glamping accommodation through moshtix.
• Each car park ticket is limited to one car ($110) and up to 6 people
• If you have additional people or cars you will need to book multiple tickets for car parking/shuttle
• The car park and Shuttle service is only available to arrivals from 12noon - 5pm on the 30th and 9am - 6pm on the 31st December and Return shuttles will be available from 7am - 12noon on 1st January 2017. There is no access to this service outside these hours.
• The shuttle is only available to campers who have parked their vehicle in our car park.

The car park is located next to Hunter Hill sailing club in Woolwich.
