Two emerging forces in Australian rock are joining together to create one night of Sonic Bliss at Revolver Upstairs. Storming onto the Australian music scene early in 2011, The Modern Age (TMA) quickly earned its rightful place in Melbourne's thriving indie music circuit. The four piece band has been performing relentlessly, building an ever-growing fan base of loyal followers who have connected with TMA's retro flavoured catalogue. THE ARACHNIDS are a four-piece rock band from Brisbane that wears their heart on their hips. More interested in having fun than being cool, their energy harks back to the irreverence that Brisbane bands Regurgitator/Custard brought to the fore in the nineties. Already gaining the reputation for lighting up rooms all over the nation with their energetic live shows, THE ARACHNIDS debut EP “The Vulture” is the first volley in a statement of intent to shake the music community out of their style over substance malaise.
Joining them will be indie-rockers Vintage Cinema and Elliot The Bull (NSW).
