In 1994, a young lion cub was flung into the air by a baboon, to the roaring applause of hundreds of animals gathered to check out the future king. 21 years later, The Lion King has inspired a broadway musical, two direct-to-video follow up movies, two spin-off series and has become the highest-grossing 2D animated film of all time. It's time to dress in drag and do the hula - that is, let's celebrate!
Come to Goodgod on Wed 1st April from 7pm for the movie, followed by trivia, followed by the entire soundtrack being performed by psychedelic pop outfit, and Sydney favourites, Richard In Your Mind.
