Revolver is going to explode on Saturday August 25th as Melbourne favourites The Latonas launch their double A-side single This Is Low/Nightlife.
‘This Is Low/Nightlife’ is the first new release by The Latonas’ since their successful 2011 self-titled EP, which featured the singles ‘Protoro’ and ‘You Know You’re Wrong’, the former video clip being featured on rock-gospel NME’s website.
Fresh from their European adventures at the start of the year The Latonas have torn up iconic venues around Melbourne, supporting international and national touring acts such as British India, Alpine and Triple J Unearthed winners The Owls amongst other bands whilst also jetting over to Perth to play the Fly The Flag Festival on Australia Day wedged in amongst their other always well-received gigs.
A literal explosion of energy live, The Latonas blend catchy guitar melodies, explosive drums, and a three pronged vocal line up to deliver an infectious, diverse, and ever-growing set list of songs that get you dancing and stay stuck in your head for days.
As you already know the Latonas, you know you’re in for a good time, if you don’t, come down and experience them yourself.
The Latonas will be supported by special guests, the highly talented Kids Without Bikes and equally impressive Seesaw, so if you’re keen for some fun come and celebrate The Latonas single release at Revolver on Saturday August 25th, party and grab a copy of ‘This Is Low/Nightlife’ for yourself to see what the buzz and talk surrounding the Latonas is all about.
