Due to popular demand UNDR Ctrl & Tropicool Events are proud to present "The Island LIVE - Official After Party" and an exclusive Sydney encore show for the great UK music maestro, Norman Jay MBE on Friday 10th February at Oxford Art Factory.

Tickets to see Norman Jay at The Island LIVE on Sydney Harbour sold out in 24 hours, so a second show was an absolute must. They'll be no set time clashes so everyone attending The Island LIVE will have ample time to make it over to Oxford Street in time to witness the Notting Hill Carnival legend deliver a very special 3 Hour set on the iconic OAF stage.

Co-founder of the legendary Good Times Sound System and renowned London dance music station KISS FM, Norman Jay helped birth the 'Rare Groove' movement, pushing the boundaries of the UK's club culture. Packing clubs wherever he played Jay became one of the most popular DJs in the world, bringing the underground sounds of rare groove and house straight into the mainstream. After being awarded an MBE for services to DJing and music he compiled his most eclectic compilation to date, 'Good Times Skank & Boogie' taking his legendary Good Times party to selected venues across the UK. His world famous Notting Hill Carnival parties remain the stuff of legend and we've got a few surprises up our sleeves to ensure our Sydney club show / after party will live long in the memory!

Rounding off this unmissable event will be two support DJs, both local heroes in their own right. Simon Caldwell has been promoter of clubbing institution Mad Racket [since '98], FBi Radio Monday night 'Sunsets' host of 8 years, and DJ since the late 80's. Drawing from his love of deep, soulful house, techno, funk, jazz and soul, Simon has played alongside all of the greats from Larry Heard to James Brown, Theo Parrish, and Moodyman (just to name a few). Joining the party is Stephen Ferris, the voice of FBi Radio and host of the wonderful Sunday night show 'Souled Out'. Back in the late 80s and early 90's Stephen hosted 'The Rhythm Method' radio show and Norman appeared as a guest the first time he toured Australia. We can't wait to get the family back together!
