Riff-rockin’ blues kings The Fumes have reignited with a fierce energy and a new line up, and are set hit the road to launch their ‘Bloodless’ album this March.

Two years in the making, "Bloodless" is a brutal tale of heartfelt truth, Blues riffs that reach for the jugular and pull in tight, soaring melody, blissful melancholy, and aggressive balls-out raucousness. The Fumes have delivered an album to show they're back and they mean it...

Roll back a few years and the band were mixing it with heavy hitters, supporting the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Clutch, Calexico, Hoodoo Gurus, The Cruel Sea, and appearing at major festivals including Japan's Fuji Rock, CMJ Music Marathon, SXSW Austin Texas, Bluesfest, Falls Festival and many more.

Founding member Stephen Merry talks about The Fumes' conspicuous absence from the scene in the album's liner notes:

"A little while between drinks is definitely a questionable way to start this off, though it's been a few years between albums for The Fumes. I've had most of these songs floating around in my head for at least seven-odd years, some for more, though It took what was really an inevitable breakdown of the then-current systems in many areas of my reality, a spell hanging in anguish, paranoia and self abuse, and then the subsequent rebuild (birth) to just get moving again... an interesting time to say the least".
