The Faults' frenzied sound is akin to a punch in the face from the Strokes during a massage from the Beach Boys at Woodstock 1969
The duo borrows inspiration from across the pre-1975 musical soundscape, to build a sound that ignores the limitations of the two-piece "establishment". After a huge 2011 playing Sydney's best and worst venues to crowds ranging from 3-300 people, the inner-west kids aspire to shake our hip faces until the sun burns your pale hung-over skin.
After the warm reception of their first self titled 4-track, the Faults are back with a new single "Patients", the title track from their forthcoming ophomore EP, produced by Sydney musical troubadour Darren Cross (Betty Airs, the E.L.F). The Faults are ready for axxion.
SAMOAN PUNKS is a New York / Buddy Holly / Ritchie Valens inspired pop soul punk music project by Samoan, Sydney based music maker Mr Ray Lalotoa.
