This class is fundamentals of music theory just for you- why? So that you can play your zills like a boss and communicate efficiently with other dancers and musicians as well as find a stronger relationship between them lil clackers and any other music you might be working with.

That will be followed up with finger cymbal basics and delve into more complex sounds, rhythms and methods. This is the first of two zilling workshops I will be holding to strengthen your stage game and your relationship with music. The second will be about exploration- how many sounds can these things make and how many ways can you use them? How do we make the transition between playing statically and moving with our zills as easy as possible?
