The Big Chill Fest is back for it's 2nd year - and it's a BANGER!

The epic New Years Eve event boasts 4 stages showcasing the best of Roots, Hip Hop and Soul music from Brisbane and beyond - including Byron favourites OKA and The Bird, US Hip Hop legend Rapper Big Pooh (Little Brother), Sydney's The Tongue, Godfathers of Australian Hip HopLazy Grey, Dcde and 2Dogs, Aus Hip Hop's favourite host MC Reason (Obese), Brisbane big-bands BULLHORN and The Mouldy Lovers,Desmond Cheese, Ezekiel Ox, Rainman, Calski, Drty Shdws Prjkt, The Francis Wolves, Vinyl Slingers, I AM D, Simplex, Jake Biz, Indigenous Intrudaz, Nick One, Master Wolf, Back to the Old School Hip Hop Party DJs - playing strictly vinyl - Papa Bitcho and Rudekat holding down the vintage soundsystem, plus urban jungle and jungle bar, top pub grub, live art from some of Australia's best graffiti artists, and so much more!

The theme of this year's event is "Amazon" with $1 from all ticket sales donated to Cool Earth rainforest conservation programs. Last year's "Urban Beach" at Boundary Street Markets was a big hit, and this year's "Urban Jungle" in the Boundary Hotel car park, complete with swinging vines and waterfalls aims to keep cool the punters and planet Earth alike.
