The guys are going to dust off the "Trunk of Funk" and pull out some old-school classics for your booty-shaking pleasure. Playing tunes by Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Sly & The Family Stone, James Brown, Prince, Average White Band and more, this eleven-piece, energy-packed, horn laden outfit will take you back to the old-school days when funk was real and in your face. You're gonna need dancing shoes. Arrive early to catch the mighty guitar-driven grooves of King Neptune. These guys know how to rev up a crowd. Founded by guitarist Franco Raggatt, the trio burns it up with great original grooves and catchy riffs aplenty, blending influences such as Hendrix, the Police and Wayne Krantz in there own unique way. Joining Franko are drummer extraordinaire James Hauptmann and Nick "The Bass Man" Sinclair. DJ Papa K will be filling in all the gaps with great Soul and Funk tracks. Anything could happen and probably will. One thing is guaranteed, however - you'll be funking the night away.
