TEK* 2013 YOUTH PROGRAM

The TEK* Youth Program will run from 11 AM - 2 PM with a treasure trove of hands on activities for kids of all ages including:

Mature students are invited to spend the rest of the afternoon and evening exploring the wide range of panels, installations and performances on the program.

POP UP "SILICON VILLAGE"

The giant hall at the Byron Sport & Cultural Complex will be transformed into a digital wonderland with immersive visuals & projections by Crystal Grid Studios, Buckworth Creations, Jono Fae and other regional artists.

It will also feature a custom-designed surround sound system by Southern Cross University faculty and students, powered by Dr. Barry Hill's Sunflower solar power system that was a big hit at the recent Byron Bay Bluesfest.

TEKSTAR TV - LIVE FROM THE KONVERGENCE

The Konvergence will be streamed LIVE on www.tekstar.tv and syndicated on websites around the world as well featured on the big screens at the event. Co-hosted by 10 year old Holley from Earth Guardians Australia, the broadcast will include curated videos & animations combined wtih LIVE coverage of Konvergence performances & presentations.
