It’s the tour that keeps on giving to Australian Queens Of The Stone Age fans! Frontier Touring are excited to announce that L.A band Sweethead, the creation of Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and the striking Serrina Sims, will play two shows in Australia whilst Troy is in town for the Queens Of The Stone Age (QOTSA) double headline tour with Nine Inch Nails (NIN)!

Sweethead will hit the stage directly after the arena shows by QOTSA / NIN. See them at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Thursday March 6th (Sydney punters will need to arrive at the venue prior to 1.30am to ensure entry), and Melbourne's Ding Dong Lounge on Friday March 14th. Members of QOTSA will be DJing.

Sweethead recently announced details of their much anticipated new EP "Reverse Exorcism!" (coming soon via Liberator), which is the follow up to their debut 2009 self-titled album. "Reverse Exorcism!" carries all the sinister musical menace expected from Van Leeuwen, excitingly juxtaposed with the alluring talents of Sims. The title track lead single is out now (listen here). Featuring 4 tracks in total the EP oozes sexuality and swagger. Serrina's scorching vocals complimented by Troy's frenzied guitar riffs command the listener's attention from the get go!

Having toured with the likes of Snow Patrol, Them Crooked Vultures, Eagles Of Death Metal, and Puscifer and with album #2 slated for release in late 2014, the band promise to bring rock 'n' roll decadence in full force to Australia!

The live band for these upcoming dates will also include Eden Galindo (Boots Electric), and Jon Theodore (Queens Of The Stone Age / Mars Volta).
