Sures and Go Violets have teamed up for a co-headine tour this August.

It's been a year since Sydney's SURES dropped their brilliant debut EP STARS, a release full of 90's flavoured indie dream pop. Since then, the band has split their time between touring the country alongside bands such as Snakadaktal and Bleeding Knees Club, writing and recording.

Now, the young four-piece returns with new single 'WASTE'. Produced by Dann Hume (Alpine, Lisa Mitchell), 'WASTE' is a brilliantly crafted, angst ridden, time bomb of a song, building slowly until reaching a cathartic crescendo.

Go Violets are a band from Brisbane, Australia. With fast drums, melodic guitars and impeccable vocal harmonies, Go Violets' influences hark back to bands like The Ramones, Tiger Trap and The Shangri-Las, while their own songs nod between '60s garage and '90s pop.

Go Violets' first single 'Runner' was a hit on 4ZZZ's 2012 Hot 100 and was included in FBi Radio's Best Australian Songs of 2012. Their second single 'Teenager' won them a spot on BIGSOUND 2012, thanks to airplay on triple j, FBi radio and 4ZZZ. Their homemade film clip for the song also made it to NME's digital TV station.

'Josie', the band's first 2013 single, retained Go Violets' pop sensibilities while encompassing a darker mood. Recorded and produced by Sean Cook (Yves Klein Blue), the distorted ballad marks a growth in the band's sound. Go Violets' debut EP is due for release in Spring 2013.
